1. The Service

Silkrin provides real-time piano rooms, MIDI playback, concert hosting, and recording capabilities through a web-based interface.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. One person, one account. Handles are first-come, first-served and may be reclaimed if inactive for 12 months.

3. User-Uploaded Content

Recordings you create are yours. We do not claim ownership of user-created content.

You are solely responsible for content you upload. By uploading MIDI files, arrangements, or any other content, you represent that you have the right to share it — either because you created it, it is in the public domain, or you have the necessary permissions.

Silkrin does not review, verify, or endorse user-uploaded content. Community submissions are provided by users, not by Silkrin. We are a platform, not a publisher.

4. Copyright & DMCA Policy

Silkrin respects the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe content on Silkrin infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown notice via the contact form on our website.

Your notice must include:

• Identification of the copyrighted work
• Identification of the infringing material and its location on Silkrin
• Your contact information
• A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized
• A statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate
• Your physical or electronic signature

Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, we will promptly remove or disable access to the material. Repeat infringers will have their accounts terminated.

5. Disclaimer of User Content

Silkrin is a platform for playing and sharing piano music. User-uploaded content (including MIDI arrangements, compositions, and recordings) is created by users, not by Silkrin. We make no representations about the legality, accuracy, or quality of user-uploaded content. Silkrin is not liable for any user content.

6. Payments

Pro and Teacher subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. Concert tickets are non-refundable unless the performer cancels. Tips are voluntary and non-refundable.

7. Conduct

Be respectful in chat and rooms. No spam, harassment, or disruptive behavior. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these principles.

8. Attribution

The default piano sound uses Salamander Grand Piano samples by Alexander Holm, licensed under Creative Commons Attribution (CC-BY).
